This article will explain how to impersonate a staff member to show you what non-administrators see from their point of view. Administrators have access to certain functions that non-admins don't. The purpose of viewing as a staff member and not an administrator is to understand the functionality from their point of view.
Once you click on the staff tab on the left side of screen the image below will appear.
The table at the bottom shows Name, Email, User Group, and a "View" tab. Different user groups have different access to features based on their job function. You can view all your staff in the table at the bottom or you can search for a specific staff member in the search box.
To view inactive staff, click on the drop down arrow and the "View Inactive" option will appear.
To create new staff, click on the black tab "+ Create New Staff". The pop-up below will appear. Fill out the given fields and a new staff member will be added to the staff list.
When the "View" is clicked on the main screen, it takes you to the screen below. It shows the staff information that is entered in the "Create New Staff" option. In the top right corner, there is a black "Actions" box to modify the staff member. The features are to edit the information, set staff as inactive, or to impersonate the staff member.
Once "Impersonate" is selected, the screen is seen through what that staff member can see. The Staff, Assessments, ISP Plans, Forms, Billing, and Incidents are hidden from view. You will be able to see what information the staff member has been entering into the system.
To leave impersonation mode, click on the drop down arrow next to the staff member's name in the top right corner and go to "Stop Impersonating". You can also view the calendar, settings, or log out from this option.
