If a client is missing from the Client Information, first check the 'Inactive' checkbox and see if the missing clients have been archived. Another possibility is that there are some unfriendly characters in the client information data, which can occur if any of the data was copied and pasted from somewhere else. The solution is to copy the information to "Notepad" before pasting it into BID.
Finally, you may only be assigned to a group of clients, and as such you will only see those clients on the Client Information screen.
The list of clients in 'Client Information' includes all active (non-archived) clients. For staff (non-admins) that have been assigned to a list of clients, then only those clients will be listed.
To see the inactive/archived clients, click the 'Inactive' checkbox:
To set a client to 'Inactive':
- Check the 'Archived' checkbox.
- Save changes.
IMPORTANT!
Before adding a new client, check the inactive list to see if that client is already in the system. If so, just uncheck the 'Archive' checkbox and save changes.
ALSO IMPORTANT!
If a client that you know has been added into the system is no longer showing in the client list, then very likely there are some unfriendly characters in the client information data, which can occur if any of the data was copied and pasted from somewhere else.
