Inhibit Access to Client Goal/Outcome Documentation based on Scheduled Event

In cases where it is desirable to inhibit DSPs from documenting goals/outcomes for certain clients (e.g., the staff/DSP has not read and reviewed the ISP plan), follow these steps:

1. On the Scheduler screen, add an Event to the Scheduler using the category "Required for Documenting Goals/Outcomes" (this event category has already been added).  Be sure to include the staff name/DSP and the client(s) in the event. Here is an example:
   
   
   
   
2. Once the Scheduler has been setup with any events using this category, the DSP will not be able to document Goals/Outcomes for the corresponding client(s) as long as any of the Event has not been marked "Completed" when the current date has past the scheduled date.  The client(s) will not be available on the Goals screen.  
   
   
3. Once all Events scheduled with this category prior to the current date have been marked "Completed", the DSP will have access to those clients on the Goals screen.

Note:  you can change the color of this Event Category any time, but never change the text "Required for Documenting Goals/Outcomes".
