The Case Notes tab on the left side of the screen will take you to the case notes screen. The first step in writing a case note is finding the correct date. Below are the date tabs that you must click on in order the make a certain day active. When a day is selected, it will show all the case notes for that day. Click on another day to see the case notes for that day. To see a list of all the case notes, go to the "Review Notes" option in black that we will cover in the next article.
Once you have the correct date, the next step is to enter the client's name. Click the drop down arrow to see the list of clients. To search for a specific client, just click in the search box to the left of the drop down arrow and type in the client name.
From there, we want to enter the "Time In" and "Time Out" fields. We need to fill in the hour, minute, and AM/PM option here. You can type in the numbers once the section is highlighted or click on the up down arrows to enter in the appropriate numbers.
Next up is the Activity/Service field. Here we enter in what kind of action is being conducted. We are able to easily find the service by looking through "Allowable" or "Unallowable" groupings. We can populated different activities/services if needed.
After that, the location field needs to be filled out. It shows where the case note happened. It also has a drop down arrow that allows you to choose an option.
The notes section is the last field on the page. It requires you to manually type in your notes or choose from a "common phrases" page. You have the "talk to text" option to fill out your notes. The common phrases list is the bubble icon. Once all the fields are filled out you can save the case note and it is complete!
