How are TCM Case Notes Categorized for the Cost Report?

Below are the conditions that Brittco uses to classify case notes for the Schedule B4 Cost Summary Report.

TCM Units

Must meet all conditions

1. Case note has allowable TCM service
2. Client has Medicaid number and is Medicaid eligible

Other Allowable

Must meet all conditions

1. Case note has allowable TCM service
2. Client does not have Medicaid number or does not have Medicaid eligibility set up

Unallowable

1. Case note has unallowable TCM service
   
   OR
   
   
2. Client is "temporarily" NOT Medicaid eligible for one of the following reasons
   1. Medical Institution
   2. ICFMR
   3. Incarcerated
   4. Nursing Home
   5. Developmental Center
   6. Juvenile Detention
   7. Moved out of State
      
      OR
      
      
3. Client has passed away
   
   OR
   
   
4. Client is under the age of 3 and not on a waiver

Home Choice

1. Case note has service of "Home Choice"

Note: Any Case Notes written with a service classified as "Other" is classified as "General / Admin Time" and will be withheld from Cost Report numbers.
