Brittco is a cloud based solution, which means it is accessed through a web browser. The main browsers are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge. We HIGHLY recommend not using Internet Explorer.
In this article, we will go over how different web browsers affect time inputs. Time has a wide browser support range and is not close to being universal across browsers.
Inputing time into Google Chrome- Google Chrome has a 24 hour format. It is straightforward to enter with an 'X' to clear what has been entered.
When using an Android or a phone on a Google Operating System, you will enter in time from the image below.
Inputing time into Mozilla Firefox- Firefox uses the AM/PM format so this browser will be user friendly.
Inputing time into Safari- Safari is not supported for the time format but has a way to enter the time data. The image below shows the mobile version of the time entry in Safari.
Inputing time into Microsoft Edge uses the 24 hour format like Google Chrome. This browser requires you to go through the drop down box to enter your time. You can't use the keyboard to enter in the time. This creates a process that is not as user friendly.
