In this article we will cover the set up needed in a client's demographic record to start using the Daily Doc screen in your Brittco system.
On the Edit screen for a client there will be two tabs we use to enter set up information for the Daily Doc screen: Daily Doc and Medical.
Daily Doc
On the Daily Doc tab, you will be able to set up Outcomes, Supports, and Measurements.
Client Outcomes
To add a new Client Outcome, click . A dialog box will open up and you can enter the information:
Once an Outcome has been entered, you'll also need to add an Experience for the Outcome to appear on the Daily Doc dashboard for a client.
Note: You can enter a Start Date for a future date if you want to put the Outcome into the system before the actual Start Date. The Outcome will show up as active on the Daily Doc screen on the day entered in the Start Date field. If you leave the End Date blank, then the Outcome will be active in perpetuity.
Client Supports
To add a new Client Support, click . A dialog box will open up and you can enter the information:
Note: As with Outcomes, you can enter a Start Date for a future date if you want to put the Support into the system before the actual Start Date. The Support will show up as active on the Daily Doc screen on the day entered in the Start Date field. If you leave the End Date blank then the Support will be active in perpetuity.
Client Measurements
To add a new Client Measurement, click . A dialog box will open up and you can enter the information:
Note: As with Outcomes and Supports, you can enter a Start Date for a future date if you want to put the Measurement into the system before the actual Start Date. The Measurement will show up as active on the Daily Doc screen on the day entered in the Start Date field. If you leave the End Date blank then the Measurement will be active in perpetuity.
Medical
On the Medical tab, you can enter information under the following tabs: General, Diagnosis, Equipment, Medications and Safety Concerns.
Medications
On the Medications tab, you can add, edit or delete medications. The date of medications that are active will appear in green and the date of medications a client should no longer be taking will appear in red.
To Add Medication, click . A dialog box will open up and you can enter information about the client's medication. The only field that has to be filled out to save a medication is the Medication Name and the Start Date field.
General
On the General tab, you can add a Code Status, a client's Preferred Hospital, Restrictions, Special Diets and Special Instructions. The Code Status cannot be customized.
Diagnosis
On the Diagnosis tab, you can enter information about a client's diagnoses.
Equipment
On the Equipment tab, you can add, edit or delete Adaptive Equipment.
To Add Equipment, click . A dialog box will open up and you can enter the name of the equipment, the date it was received, end date and a note. Only the name of the equipment is required to add the equipment.
Safety Concerns
On the Safety Concerns tab, you can add, edit and delete concerns.
To add a Concern, click . A dialog box will open up and you can enter the new safety concern Start Date, End Date and a Note. The End Date field does not have to be filled out to save an entry.
