When there is a desire to have a limited list of clients "assigned" to staff, there are two methods to achieve this relationship.
Method 1: Setup Client List per Staff
- Go to the Setup screen.
- Select the staff.
- Check all the clients that are to be assigned to the staff.
- Click 'Save'.
Method 2: Setup Programs per Staff
This method can be less time-consuming to maintain the staff-client relationship if there are many staff associated with the same clients. For example, if a new client is added, then using Method 1 all staff to be assigned to the new client will have to be setup. Using the following Method 2, the staff-client relationship comes from assigning Programs to staff. Remember, clients are also assigned to Programs (on the Client Information screen OR Setup-Programs). So when the checkbox "Use Client Program Relationships" is used, then the Staff-Client relationships come from:
Staff ==> Program == Clients
- Go to the Setup screen.
- Select the staff.
- Check 'Use Client Program Relationships'.
- Click 'Save'.
