In this article, we will be going over the training course for the DSPs.
Click continue training to pick up where you left off or to start your training.
There are two tabs at the top of the page. Stay in courses and select the training module you wish to continue or start training.
The different sections:
- Overview of Caring for Individuals with DD
- Individual Service Plans (ISP)
- Rights of Individuals served
- Incidents Adversely Affecting Health and Welfare
- Universal Precaution and Infection Control
- Community Integration
- Quizzes
To dive into the action, click on the blue 'Start Training' or 'Continue Training' if you already have the training started.
Once you have viewed all the modules, the quiz at the bottom will unlock and will need to be completed in order to get credit for the course and receive the certificate.
In the 'Progress' tab next to the Course tab, we see the names of the DSPs, last completed, and next due date for the training's. To schedule a training, click on the blue 'Schedule' open in the Next Due Date column.
The popup below will appear. Select the staff and the date you want that staff to complete the training. When the fields have been populated, click the green 'Schedule' button to complete the scheduling.
Note: the scheduled training will be displayed on the Scheduler as an event with the name of the course as the event title. When the course is completed, this event will be automatically marked as "Complete".
When a staff does complete the training, there will be a blue icon next to their last completed date as shown below. Click on the blue icon to view the certificate given when the training is completed.
A PDF will be downloaded and will be visible from under the Support option or you can go to your downloads folder and pull up the certificate from there.
Open the certificate and below is an image of what the DSP will get when the training is completed. You can print and download the certificate just like any PDF file.
We also created a report to show you who has completed the training and who has started the training. This is a good way to stay on top of your staff when trying to get everyone's training completed. The report is called DSP Training Results #202.
