Sometime it is necessary to enter times in HPC that are back-to-back. For example, suppose a shift starts at 9:00am with one client. Then at 10:00am, another client shows up. The end time of 10:00am must be entered, closing the first time that was entered. Now a new time must be started using the previous end time of 10:00am with the same HPC location, but two clients.
Another example where back-to-back times can be used is when transporting the client, especially to multiple locations. Upon arriving at the first stop, the end time could be entered, and simultaneously a new start time could be entered for the next time. The advantage of this method is that each start and stop time has a GPS coordinate, so there would be documentation of the exact locations where the client was taken. It might look like this:
01:00PM - 01:20PM, Home to restaurant
01:20PM - 02:15PM, Ate at restaurant and drove to park
02:15PM - 03:00PM, Drove back home
If each one of these times is entered separately in the HPC time sheet, then there will be a GPS coordinate for the home, the restaurant, and the park.
