Creating Form Tags
In your Brittco system you have the ability to customize which staff see what forms. We do this through the use of "Tags." You can tag each form that you use in Brittco and then define which User Groups can access which Forms by setting up the permission in Account Settings. Let's walk through an example together:
In the Forms module, click on Edit next to the form you want to Tag:
From there you can click on the box for "Tags:" and type in the name of the tag you want to assign to this form.
As you assign different tags to different forms you will build a list and can use the dropdown to select already created tags:
With the tag assigned, click on at the bottom of the page.
Restricting access to forms by User Group
Once you have tagged all of your forms it is time to select which User Groups can see which forms. To do this you will go to Account Settings by clicking on your Agency's name at the top of the page:
Next click on and then on
Click "Edit" on the User Group you want to assign specific form to and look for the "Restrictions" heading in the permissions list:
Check the box next to "Access forms from specific tags only" and a drop down will appear:
From here you can select one or more tags you want this specific User Group to be able to see. For this article we will select the tag we made on the form earlier, "Tag for Form Tags Article." After that we will click on the User Group.
If you navigate back to the Forms module as a user from that User Group, you will see that now you can only access forms with "Tag for Form Tags Article:"
Using these Tags is a great way to keep your staff organized and their screens focused only on the information they need. Keep in mind that these tags will be enforced across Packets as well. So be sure to properly tag all of the forms the specific User Group will need in order to complete their tasks.
Deleting Form Tags
If you made a mistake or typo on your tag when entering it or you find that you no longer need a certain tag on a form, simply click on "Edit" of the form in question:
And click the "X" next to the tag:
Click on at the bottom of the page and that form will no longer have the tag associated with it.
